This Privacy Policy explains what information SkyHabit (Optimal Living Daily LLC, “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. It applies to skyhabit.com and our related readings, emails, cards, and products (the “Service”).
Information we collect
Information you give us:
- Your email address
- Your birth date, birth time, and birth place
- Your quiz answers
- If you make a purchase, your payment details (handled by our payment processor — we do not store your full card number)
Information we create for you:
- Your personality-type result and computed chart
- Your private “magic link” token
- Your chosen morning-delivery region
Information collected automatically:
- Basic technical and usage information, such as device and browser type, general location (from your IP address), and how you use the Service, collected through standard cookies and similar technologies. We use a session cookie so the site can remember your reading on your device.
How we use your information
We use your information to:
- Create and show your reading
- Personalize your readings and cards to your birth details
- Send the emails you signed up for, and deliver them near your local morning
- Operate, secure, and improve the Service
- Process any purchases
- Respond to you when you contact us
How we share your information
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers who help us run SkyHabit, and only as needed for them to do that work. These include our email platform (Beehiiv), our payment processor (Stripe), our website hosting and database providers (such as Vercel and Neon), and location-data providers (such as GeoNames). We may also share information if required by law, to protect our rights or the safety of our users, or as part of a business transfer such as a sale or merger.
Cookies
We use a small number of cookies, including a session cookie that remembers your reading on your device. You can control cookies through your browser settings, though some features may not work without them.
How long we keep your information
We keep your information for as long as your reading or subscription is active, and as needed to run the Service, comply with the law, and resolve disputes. You can ask us to delete your information at any time (see below).
Your choices and rights
- Unsubscribe: leave our emails anytime using the link in any email.
- Access, correct, or delete: email us at hello@skyhabit.com to see, fix, or delete the information we hold about you.
- California residents:under the CCPA/CPRA, you have the right to know what personal information we collect, to request its deletion or correction, and to opt out of any “sale” or “sharing” of it. We do not sell your personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. You will not be treated differently for exercising these rights. Security
We use reasonable measures to protect your information. However, no method of storage or transmission over the internet is 100% secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Children
SkyHabit is intended for adults 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has provided us with information, email hello@skyhabit.com and we will delete it.
International users
We operate in the United States. If you use the Service from outside the U.S., your information will be processed in the U.S., which may have different data-protection laws than your country.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. When we do, we'll change the “Last updated” date above. Significant changes may also be highlighted on the site.
